Hey there!

Long time no see, huh?! So, my life changed a lot since the last time i was writing here. Unfortunately, 2 years have passed and i didn't create anything.

But now... Now i'm Álvaro's dad... Yeah, my baby! Maybe now all my creativity back. What do you think?! More wallpapers?! More designs?! More colors?!

Skin a Scion


Well, this is the easy part for a bunch of artists eager to demonstrate their creative skills. Down below you will see that Scion has provided us with templates and stock photo resources of the 5 models to work from.

Now, the task at hand is to choose one of the vehicles and either by using the supplied images themselves, or using them as visual inspiration, give that specific vehicle one hell of a paint job, a new skin that reflects what you do as an artist... what you think would look massive on a car. You can set it in a scene of your choosing, whether it is an urban environment, downtown Tokyo, the moon or Atlantis. This is all about you, their car and your imagination.

There are no restrictions on what format or style you use in your submission. They can range from fully traditional to fully digital or anything in between as long as the subject matter is you splashing a new skin on one of the 5 models of Scion vehicles.

The Prizes


This is a Winner Take All! contest, so make each entry count as there will be no runner up prizes!

US entrants are eligible to win either a Scion (xB, NG xB, xD, xA or tC subject to availability of the model at time of contest closing; see full rules for more details) or the cash equivalent of the model used in the winning entry. Cash equivalent is based on the cost of the vehicle coming factory direct with no additional customization - approximately $15,000 US.

Non US entrants, while not eligible to win the car due to limitations in distribution, are eligible to win the cash equivalent of the model used in the winning entry. This amount will be approximately $15,000 US.

As I'm sure you know, I'm a fan of the TV show Gilmore Girls.  Ok, I'm a super-dedicated-webmaster-megafan.  You probably also know that I built GilmoreGirls.org back in 2000 and it has since grown to become the Net's largest Gilmore fan site.  It's pretty much my baby.

What you might not know is that the show is in limbo of being canceled and may not return for another season.  However, I have been steadfastly hard working for the last two months in attempts to build a fan campaign to save the show.

One key element of that campaign is getting the media's attention.  Currently, E! Online is hosting a 'Save One Show' poll where fans can vote to save their favorite show.  Without going into great detail, it would be *HUGE* if Gilmore Girls could pull off a win.


Help $Heidi to save the show! Vote to save Gilmore Girls here (voting ends April 6th).

Hi everyone,

Well, as you know, the Brazilian team lost, one more time, for France (remember 1998?!) and we are eliminated of the World Cup. The French team played much better and deserved the victory and classification for the semi-finals... Congratulations!!!

But remember... the Brazil it's the only team 5 times champion of the world!!! ;)
